ISWFACE IS NO LONGER ASSOCIATED WITH THE DUMAS BROTHEL MUSEUM IN ANY WAY.
IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN LEARNING THE REASON WE ARE NOT, WE WILL BE HAPPY TO, FOR THE COST OF COPIES AND POSTAGE, MAIL THE VOLUMES OF MATERIAL THAT CAME OUT OF OUR LITIGATION AGAINST MR. GIECEK.
WE SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT THE DUMAS ITSELF IS A WONDERFUL BUILDING WHICH NEEDS TO BE PRESERVED AND RESTORED, BUT DISCOVERED TOO LATE THAT WE WERE INVOLVED WITH A MAN WHO HAS A HISTORY OF FRAUD AND DECEIT. WE HOPE THAT ANYONE ELSE WHO EVER HAS THE MISFORTUNE OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH MR. GIECEK WILL TAKE TIME TO INVESTIGATE HIS BACKGROUND AND CONTACT THE PEOPLE IN BUTTE WHO KNOW HIM BEST. PERHAPS THIS WILL SAVE SOME OTHER UNFORTUNATE INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP FROM LOSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ONLY TO DISCOVER AFTER IT IS TOO LATE WHAT SORT OF MAN HE REALLY IS.
WE ARE CERTAIN THAT THE OTHER INDIVIDUALS WHOM MR. GIECEK HAS DECEIVED AND DEFRAUDED IN THE PAST WOULD BE HAPPY TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH ANYONE WHO REQUESTS SUCH INFORMATION. WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO PROVIDE THE NAMES AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS OF THESE INDIVIDUALS.
WE HAVE NOTARIZED AFFIDAVITS FROM THE FORMER MADAM AND OTHERS RELATING TO THE SO CALLED BROTHEL ARTIFACTS THAT MR. GIECEK REPRESENTS AS BEING AUTHENTIC. THEY ARE NOT.
IF YOU FIND YOURSELF FINANCIALLY INVOLVED WITH MR. GIECEK AND HE PERPETRATES FRAUD ON YOU, PLEASE REPORT HIM TO THE BUTTE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT. EVENTUALLY THEY MAY FINALLY TAKE LONG OVERDUE ACTION AGAINST THIS MAN AND HE WILL RECEIVE EVERYTHING HE RICHLY DESERVES.

UPDATE: On May 25th, 2005, The Montana Standard reported that "rare antiques and artifacts" were stolen from the Dumas. Rudy Giecek claimed that someone broke in and robbed the building, taking "rare sex toys" and other historically valuable items. These are the same items that he told us originally were genuine artifacts from the Dumas, but it turned out not to be the case. We can only hope he does not try to collect insurance on any of these items! The saddest part about his claim is that news agencies around the country and possibly around the world have picked up the story and printed the lies he tells them about the "theft" of "rare historic artifacts." The items he claims came from the Dumas Brothel are in fact nothing more than junk he and his friends found in dumpsters, swap meets and flea markets. The former madam, who sold the building to Rudy, signed an affidavit that there was nothing remaining in the Dumas when she vacated the building. She had sold everything in it and it was empty when Rudy Giecek bought the building from her for $2,000. In addition to this affidavit, is the affidavit from a former client of the Dumas, who helped the madam sell all the remaining items in the building long before she sold it to Rudy, as well as from the two former friends of Rudy's who sold him the junk he is passing off as "rare historic artifacts." Again, to any reporter or other interested individual, we are more than happy to provide the names and phone numbers of the former madam and others who can attest to the fact that Rudy Giecek is once again perpetuating deception and fraud on a gullible press and public.
