There is a very good reason sex worker activists around the world believe that the decriminalization of all consenting adult commercial sex is the only way communities can deal with the problems created by laws which prohibit such behavior.
As long as law enforcement agents are busy enforcing laws by arresting consenting adults, law enforcement resources become very scarce or are not available at all to target those unscrupulous individuals who force women and children into the sex industry.
