What We Do

Since 1997, ISWFACE has spearheaded vital research in sex work studies. We have held biker rallies, art festivals, and masquerade balls. We strive to educate and enrich.

What now?

In 2023, former ISWFACE President Norma Jean Almodovar handed over the reigns of ISWFACE to a new generation. We have big shoes to fill, and we are determined to continue Norma Jean’s legacy with as much passion and determination as she did.

We have many future goals. We want to hold educational seminars, provide support for sex work-lead research, and create a haven for the arts. We strive to build community, both in our current home of Las Vegas as well as the rest of the world. In the future, we look to hold art shows, poetry nights, tabletop gaming groups for sex workers, and engage in vital sex work research.
